The School District of Philadelphia has installed condom vending machines in 22 schools in an effort to decrease the risk of STD’s to the 61% of sexually active students in the city. Many people believe this is a horrible idea and many parents are in an uproar. However, I remember condoms being available when I was in school over 10 years ago, but the way to get them was way more discreet and came with a talk from the school’s sex ed counselor. I mean, really dude, if more parents were stepping in to educate their children the board may not have had to go to this extreme. Am I wrong about this one?
